Gaffney, S.C. (October 5, 2017) – After a tough race in Dover, Harrison Rhodes is hoping for a better weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Rhodes will drive the No. 01 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Drive for the Cure 300.

Rhodes has five previous Xfinity Series starts at the mile-and-a-half track in Charlotte, N.C.

“Last weekend did not go the way we had hoped, but this is a new week,” said Rhodes. “The guys at the shop have been working hard all week getting a great No. 01 racecar set up for Charlotte. I have struggled at this track in the past, but JDM’s mile-and-a-half program has made some good progress this year, so I’m eager to get on track at CMS.”

Charlotte Motor Speedway practice is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying will start at 12:05 p.m. Saturday. The Drive for the Cure 300 will get the green flag at 3:00 p.m. on NBCSN.
