GAFFNEY, S.C. (May 7, 2018) – NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie driver, Vinnie Miller, had a great weekend at Dover International Speedway. Despite having never raced at the “Monster Mile” before, Miller came home in 22nd place in the OneMain Financial 200.
Miller’s day started off great will a top-25 qualifying effort for the No. 01 Chevrolet Camaro team. Miller’s 22nd place finish is his best non-restrictor plate race finish so far in his NASCAR Xfinity Series career.
“This No. 01 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller team had a successful weekend at the Monster Mile,” said Miller. “I am very happy with a 22nd place finish in my first start on the tough track. The whole team including, my spotter, Tyler Green, and driver coach, Landon Cassill, were able to keep me out of trouble and get me back on the lead lap. I couldn't have done it without them all and especially not without JAS Expedited Trucking, Flex Seal, and Hoist.”
The NASCAR Xfinity Series will take a two week break before the next race, the Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 26th, 2018.
