Gaffney, SC-For the first time ever, Eric Estepp’s Out of the Groove, a YouTube community of nearly 200,000 NASCAR fans, will be the primary sponsor on JD Motorsports / Brennan Poole No. 6 Chevrolet at this year’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship race at Phoenix.
While Out of the Groove has appeared on several cars in the last several years, this marks the first time Eric Estepp and his NASCAR news and talk YouTube Channel will be the primary sponsor of a car.
And he won’t be alone! Out of the Groove will be riding along with a group of his partners who participated in his and A.E. Engine’s charity esports iRacing event, Groovy Hollow 2 on October 26.
“Our partners this year were so generous with their support,” said Eric Estepp, host of Out of the Groove, “so I can’t wait to see Brennan take them around Phoenix in the championship race!”.
The car will be driven this weekend by Brennan Poole, who has raced at Phoenix many times before.
“Eric has so many amazing fans and to see their support of him and this car has been so cool,” says Brennan. “I feel honored to be the driver that gets to wheel the first OOTG primary sponsorship car. I really enjoy the Phoenix track and I’m looking forward to getting out there and having a strong run for the Groovy Gang.”
This unique partnership started as a collaboration between Out of the Groove, A.E. Engine, and the other partners during this year’s Groovy Hollow 2 iRacing charity event. As part of the Halloween-themed event, these partners helped raise over $10,000 for Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network charity. Along with that generosity, they also helped fund the Out of the Groove No. 6 Chevrolet.
Participating partners include: Brand South Africa, Fort Worth Screen Printing, Year One Parts, Minutemen Coffee, 18.21 Man Made, Bring It On Cleaner, Garage Oil Spirits, Performance Distributors, Iggy’s Sports Cards & Collectibles, Lionel Racing, Nature’s Garden, Auto Repair Vin Stickers, National Metering Services, Pristine Auctions, Don Pablo Coffee, Victory Consultants, Across the Board, Clore Automotive, Thread Wizard, Habana Brisa, Weathertech All South Electrical Constructors Inc., AUTOParkit, Petty’s Garage, and Forney Industries.
“We are all very excited for not only Eric (Estepp) but also his Out of the Groove community,” says Craig Baroncelli, founder of A.E. Engine. “If this doesn’t light up his YouTube community, nothing will.”
The Out of the Groove No. 6 Chevrolet will also feature the names of 250 members of Eric’s online community, the Groovy Gang, all of whom pre-ordered the Out of the Groove diecast during the Groovy Hollow 2 broadcast. In addition to the diecast pre-order, a limited edition t-shirt set was produced to commemorate the sponsorship. These items can be found at groovymotorsports.com/shop
The NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship airs live on USA, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Ch. 90) on Saturday, November 5 at 3:00pm EST

JD Motorsports
Team Owner Johnny Davis first began fielding the No. 4 car in what is now the Xfinity Series in 1983 with Joe Henry Thurman as the driver. From 1983-1985, Davis and Thurman competed in 41 races and put the JD Motorsports name on the map. Although JDM has seen a sharp rise in on-track performance in the past few years, success is nothing new to this team. Years of good drivers and excellent runs have paved the way for what JDM is today. www.teamjdmotorsports.com
