LAS VEGAS – Harrison Rhodes finished 27th Saturday in the Boyd Gaming 300 Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The race was the first in a three-event swing through Western states for Xfinity teams. Races at Phoenix and Fontana, Calif. will follow.
Rhodes started 31st and finished the race two laps down in the G&K Services Chevy.
“It was a tough, fast race,” Rhodes said. “We had a pretty good car and were able to race in the middle of the pack most of the day. Good experience here for me in only my second time out.”
Rhodes is 15th in Xfinity driver points.
Joey Logano led 106 laps and won the race.
The series moves on to Phoenix International Raceway for a March 18 race.
