RICHMOND, Va. – Jeffrey Earnhardt, driving the Perdue Chevrolet, finished 24th in Friday night’s rain-delayed ToyotaCare 250 Nationwide Series race at Richmond International Raceway.

Earnhardt started 25th and raced as high as 16th but couldn’t push his car out of mid-pack in the race’s closing laps.

Earnhardt drove with sponsorship from Perdue Foods. He remained in 17th in Nationwide driver points.

The race started several hours late after rain pounded the speedway area much of the day.

Kevin Harvick dominated the race on the way to victory, leading 202 of the 250 laps.

The series moves on to Talladega Superspeedway for a May 3 race.
