LAS VEGAS – Ross Chastain rolled home 25th in Saturday’s Boyd Gaming 300 Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Chastain qualified 26th.
The Vegas race is the first in a three-race Western swing for Xfinity drivers in a very busy start to the season.
“It’s great to be out here racing again,” Chastain said. “I was hoping for a higher finish and on the lead lap (he finished one lap down), but it was a pretty good afternoon. Gives us more experience for next time here.”
Chastain is 18th in Xfinity driver points.
Joey Logano dominated in winning the race, leading 106 of the 200 laps.
The next Xfinity race is March 18 at Phoenix International Raceway.
